No. These are self-study courses. You do not need to create the curriculum, record videos, build quizzes, or teach the material. This option also does not include an instructor dashboard or detailed student monitoring.

How much can I charge students?

Your cost is $250 per course enrollment through Conecta. You may sell each course for any amount above $250 and set your own student price on your landing page.

Who hosts the course and learning platform?

Latino Tax Pro provides the course content. Students access training through the Prendo 365 learning platform and receive their login information directly from Prendo 365 after enrolling.

Can I combine the course with coaching or mentorship?

Do students receive certificates or CE credit?

When students complete a course, they receive a certificate. IRS continuing education credits are reported for eligible IRS courses, and the California CTEC 60 Hour course is reported to CTEC.

How the Courses Work

Each chapter follows a simple rhythm: short video, quiz, short video, quiz. Students work through the eBook, short lessons, quizzes, practice tax returns, different tax scenarios, and then the final exam.

Short video lessons

Students watch short lessons at their own pace, then continue through each chapter step by step.

eBook and quizzes

The course includes eBook material and chapter quizzes so students can check their understanding as they go.

Practice scenarios

Students also work through practice tax returns and different scenarios that help them apply the material.

Final exam

At the end of the course, students complete the final exam.

Certificate and reporting

When students complete the course, they receive a certificate. IRS continuing education credits are reported for eligible IRS courses, and the California CTEC 60 Hour course is reported to CTEC.

The Federal Individual Income Tax Course gives students a complete introduction to preparing individual tax returns and working with Form 1040.
