How messaging credits work.

Buy credits, then use them to send texts, pictures, and WhatsApp messages. Longer texts, emojis, and more people can use more credits.

Add credits to your account.

Choose a package and pay through Stripe. Each package is a one-time purchase. Prices are in US dollars.

Use the same email you use to log in.

Pay with your Hola Conecta login email so credits go to the right account. Check it even when using saved payment details.

Used another email or missing your credits? Contact us with your receipt and login email.

1.3–2¢ per credit. Longer messages may use several credits.

A short text to one person uses 1 credit.

Plain text of up to 160 characters uses 1 credit per person. Longer texts use more, even if they arrive as one message.

Each person counts. If a text costs 2 credits, sending it to 100 people uses 200 credits.

Spaces, links, and names count too. Limits can vary by sending number. Check the app’s credit estimate before sending.

Credits per text × people = total credits.

A 1-credit reminder sent to 50 clients uses 50 credits. A 2-credit reminder sent to the same 50 clients uses 100 credits.

One emoji or certain accents leave less room for text. Short messages may still use 1 credit. Longer ones can use 2 or more.

Emojis take extra room.
60 plain letters + 😊 = 1 credit per person. 70 plain letters + 😊 = 2 credits. Some emojis take more room.
Not all accents have the same effect.
á, í, ó, and ú leave less room. ñ, ü, and é do not lower the usual limit. Capital letters follow the same rule.
Copied text can take extra room.
Curly quotes and long dashes can use more credits. Plain quotes and a short hyphen leave more room.
Some symbols count twice.
Symbols like ^, {, }, and € each take the space of two plain letters.

Spanish does not always cost more.

Su cita es mañana and Su cita será mañana each use 1 credit per person. Both are short enough, even though the second has an á.

Keep it clear and brief. Check the total credits before you send.

1 credit for the picture, plus credits for any text.

A picture message uses 1 credit per person before you add text. The text costs the same as a regular SMS.

A picture with a 2-credit text sent to 100 clients uses 300 credits.

1 WhatsApp message = 1 credit per person.

This includes replies, picture messages, and approved templates. They use the same credit balance as SMS.

Emojis and accents do not add credits to a WhatsApp message. Each separate message you send uses another credit.

One message to 100 clients uses 100 credits.

Send each client a second message and you use another 100 credits.

When a client writes, you can reply normally for 24 hours. After that, use an approved WhatsApp template. Every message you send still uses 1 credit.

Hola Conecta sends messages through Infobip. The rule above is what comes out of your Hola Conecta balance.

Are credits shared by my office?

Yes. Your team shares one balance for SMS and WhatsApp.

Where can I check my balance?

Open the app’s messaging credit settings to see your balance and recent activity. Refresh after a purchase.

What if I used a different email at checkout?

Does sending mean the client received it?

No. A sent message can still fail. Check its delivery status in the inbox.
