CRM

The client record your whole office works from

Keep personal clients, leads, households, and businesses in one contact file. Search it, tag it, import it, and open the same record from Inbox, Tasks, Campaigns, and the client portal.

Keep the details a tax office actually needs

The contact record holds identity, household and business relationships, tax-office details, and the communication preferences your team uses every day.

Basics

  • Create a contact with email or phone required
  • Store name, birthday, language, address, and assigned owner
  • Add tags and keep them on the record
  • Open the same contact in Inbox without leaving the file

Clients, leads, and service interest

  • Classify contacts as clients or leads
  • Track client type and lead type
  • Record active services and opportunity interest
  • Filter the list by contact type, client type, or lead type

Households and businesses

  • Link household members on the contact
  • Track dependents on the contact
  • Connect business records, owners, and related tax details
  • Keep business work on the business file instead of mixing it into a personal note

Office fields and preferences

  • Use custom fields your office defines in Settings
  • Store communication opt-in for email, SMS, and WhatsApp
  • Add social profiles and background notes when you need them
  • See contact engagement such as email opens, clicks, replies, and last activity

Find, import, and update many contacts at once

The Contacts page is built for list work at the start of tax season and for cleanup work the rest of the year.

Search and filters

  • Search the contact list from the toolbar
  • Filter by tags, contact type, services, or leads
  • Filter by opt-in status
  • Sort, including by engagement score

Import and export

  • Import contacts from CSV through the import wizard
  • Map columns, review, and run the import
  • Export the full list or the current filtered view

Bulk actions

  • Add or remove tags on a selection
  • Send bulk email, SMS, or MMS
  • Request payment across selected contacts
  • Edit fields in bulk or delete a selection

The contact is the hub, not a separate island

Messages, tasks, appointments, documents, payments, and portal access stay attached to the same person.

Work that lives on the contact

  • Open the conversation in Inbox
  • Create and review tasks linked to the contact
  • Keep notes with author and timestamp
  • Use tags to start an Automation after a form submission or office action

Activity on the record

  • See email opens, clicks, replies, and last activity
  • Know when a client booked an appointment or still needs follow-up
  • Keep the conversation, files, and next step attached to the same person

Connected to the rest of the office

Use Contacts as the record. Use the other tools for the work that happens on that record.

Put every client and lead in one place the office can actually use

Import the list, keep the tax-office details on the record, and open the same contact from Inbox when the work starts.
