The Nashua program

Everyone needs to file taxes. The program covers the fundamentals, professional responsibility, client work, and the business steps that help graduates move toward employment or their own practice.

IRS-approved curriculum with job placement support

The flexible hybrid program includes online and in-person options. Cohorts are available in English and in a bilingual English-Spanish track.

Module 1: The Foundation of Federal Tax Law

Tax code fundamentals, key terminology, and the structure of the US tax system.

Module 2: Income and Assets, Form 1040

Income types, asset reporting, and the filing statuses used in Form 1040 work.

Module 3: Deductions, Adjustments, and Credits

Common deductions and credits, with a focus on accurate and legal preparation.

Module 4: Ethics and Professional Responsibility

IRS rules, Circular 230, and the due diligence principles every professional follows.

Module 5: The Business Blueprint

Setting up a business, finding clients, pricing services, and starting business services.

Module 6: Career Launch and Support

Resume building, interviews, client acquisition, and ongoing alumni support.

Do I need prior experience?

No experience is needed. The course starts from the basics and builds up step by step.

What happens after I graduate?

You receive a Certificate of Completion recognized by the IRS. The program also provides placement assistance and guidance for setting up a business.

Is the course offered in Spanish?

Yes. There are English-only cohorts and bilingual English-Spanish cohorts.

Are Saturday sessions required?

Saturday sessions are optional but recommended for extra practice, questions with Ernie, and networking.

What software will we use?

You practice with professional tax software and real tax scenarios so you are ready to serve clients.
